MISSION : To transform LOCAL CHILDREN into GLOBAL CITIZENS by promoting human values, culture and commitment to society in association with educational institutions and social organisations by organising FILM SHOWs.

AIM : To Provide information, inspiration for involvement into the process of Transformation.

GOAL : 300 students per school per show  x 32 film shows per month   x 12 months = 1,15,200 children or youth per year.

My wife Trupti and I have been investing our time and energy to create a community of learning, living, leading and loving people by "Transforming local children and youth into global citizens".

We organise SHORT FILM SHOWs since 2006 in schools & colleges of villages near Valsad, Gujarat, India. (Valsad is our hometown.)

Broad objective of each Film Show is to :

• develop awareness,

•  provide in-formal education,

• share information,

•  inspire viewers to interact.

•  get involved into the process of Transformation of the Nation.

We are an independent couple with vision, mission, patience and passion for this project "Margdarshan". We have limited source of income which limits us from expanding and spreading the area of coverage.

However, we very strongly believe if at all something has to be DONE by somebody, why not we ?

Important:

Would you like us to visit an educational institution close to your residence and organize a film show as mentioned above?

1. We intend to organize such FILM SHOWs through out the State of Gujarat for intellectual and moral development of students on No Profit – No loss basis.

2. Margdarshan is approximately 2 to 3 hour long event which includes screening of 4 to 5 inspirational and thought provoking films and interaction with the audience. We can interact in English, Hindi and Gujarati.

3. We refrain from accepting gifts, mementoes and bouquets.

4. We would like you to bear to and from Valsad, (Gujarat) rail / bus fare to your place and extend hospitality in your home with your family, not in a hotel.

5. Though the FILM SHOW is conducted for FREE OF COST, if you or your organization choose and pursue to contribute an economic support we will honor your feelings by accepting it and the amount will be used ONLY for the Margdarshan activities.

Who will be benefited ?

The children of high school and college going children will be benefited from this program. We intend to screen a series films as mentioned below through out the year. We plan to serve 32 educational institutions per month. We expect approximately 300 students per educational institution to get benefited.

What will be done ?

We have started producing informative & inspirational video films on following topics :

03. Understanding Personal Role in Family and Society.
04. Learning to be Neutral.
05. Happiness and Self Satisfaction.
06. Understanding Quality of Life.
07. Evolving personal philosophy of Quality Life.
08. Spiritual and Scientific approach towards self realisation.
09. Harnessing Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual powers.
10. Establishing personal value based system.
11. Ethical and morale living.
12. Developing courage and boldness to fight back resistance.
13. Learning to Live, Lead and Love.
14. Balancing Personal, Social and Professional Lives.
15. Humanity as a universal religion.

In context with various aspects of human life such as : First Aid, Health, Human Rights, Social Responsibility, Public Services, Politics, Safety, Industries, Economy, Security, Finance, Civic Sense.

Why do we want it to be done ?

Where will this project take place ?

Initially in and around Valsad, later on will cover Gujarat State and finally the Nation.

We intend to take this project to following district places of Gujarat State, India:

Ahmedabad, Amreli, Anand, Banaskatha, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Dahod, Dang, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Kutchh, Mehsana, Nadiad, Navsari, Narmada, Panchmahal, Patan, Porbandar, Rajkot, Sabarkantha, Surat, Surendra Nagar, Vadodara and Valsad.

When will this project commence ?

This has been flagged off on 15th August, 2008 and will continue through out the year.

How is this done ?

We shall :

• Produce inspirational Films for providing moral education and information in context with community development with a focus on topics mentioned above.

• Organise and conduct learning events using films as mentioned above including Q & A sessions.

• Web cast videos on internet and broadcast on local cable television networks.

• Inspiring children to design, develop and contribute contents to publish motivational pocket booklets, greeting cards, calendars and posters.

• Involve children in production and publication of films, videos and pocket books.

THE VENUE :

Local Community Hall or An assembly Hall in School or College with microphone and speakers.
